On October 25, 2009, I, Erin Romig, did my first triathlon – The Big Kahuna Half Ironman in Santa Cruz, CA.
I did consider myself to be an athlete– but not an endurance athlete by any means.
I’d never had competed in or had formal training in swimming, biking or running. In fact, up to that point, the most I have ever swam is 20 laps, biked is 15 miles, run is 5 miles.
This blog was started as a chronicle of my journey to BK; now it follows me in my journey to become a better endurance athlete.
